Amnyi Trulchung Rinpoche to host Losar, Tibetan New Year celebration, at Nelson Buddhist Centre.

Join Amnyi Trulchung Rinpoche and friends of Nelson Buddhist Centre on Wednesday February 9th, for a celebration of Tibetan New Year.

Enjoy a traditional meal and support education and health projects in Junyong, Eastern Tibet.

There will be a presentation from Keith Rowan on the recent trip to tibet by Amnyi Trulchung Rinpoche and several members of the Nelson Buddhist Centre.

Keith's picture show will give you a taste of Tibetan culture, how it has changed and how it has remained the same since the Chinese have been in government.

The evening will be accompanied by a traditional Tibetan meal of momos (dumplings), thukpa (stew) and butter tea. Vegetarian momos will be available.
