Vele meesters zijn hier in retraite geweest, onder wie Patrul Rinpoche en Jamgon Mipham Rinpoche.

Toen hij 15 was, verbleef Jamgon Mipham Rinpoche hier voor een 18 maanden durende retraite op Witte Manjushri. Na afloop had hij Manjushri volledig gerealiseerd en hij vertoonde al zijn kwaliteiten.

Jamgon Mipham Rinpoche verbleef vele jaren in retraite in de kluizenaarshut en veel van zijn teksten zijn hier geschreven.

After attaining a vision of Manjushri whilst on retreat at Ju Mohor, Jamgon Mipham Rinpoche wrote the mantra of Manjushri into a rock with his finger.

The tibetan letters 'Om A Ra Pa Tsa Na Dhi' can still be seen to this day.

The main temple of Ju Mohor Monastery, the site of teachings from such masters as Jamgon Mipham Rinpoche and Patrul Rinpoche, is in the process of being rebuilt.

The majority of the main structure has been finished, but the inside still needs funds for its completion.

This was the room the great Dzogchen master Khenchen Rigsal Dorje spent much of life in retreat.
