Life in Tibet Today

A Public Talk by Amnyi Trulchung Rinpoche at the Tashi Delek Tibet! exhibition.

Tashi Delek Tibet! is the title of a month long exhibition being held at The Refinery Art Space by sculptor and installation artist Dominique de Borrekens, former winner of the prestigious World of Wearable Arts competition, photographers Simon & Cally Stockdale and Norbu Wangdu, painter Anahata Ishaya and multi-media artist Alison Eades.

Taking place from 22nd July to 17th August this visual and experiential exhibition includes a series of workshops designed to raise the community awareness of Tibet, its people, history and culture.

Through the colourful and rich visual displays the intention is to inform others of the artistic heritage of Tibet and how some of it is use in the art of Buddhist spiritual principles and practice which are based around the alleviation of suffering. See the website for further details.
