Joyful Enthusiasm

Publieke Lezing met Amnyi Trulchung Rinpoche

All living beings share a common inner urge to make sense of our lives and our place in the world around us. Though others may point the way or give help, this task of understanding has to be accomplished by each individual. No one can do it for us. Losing a job, a partner, the death or illness of a loved one–life constantly presents us with new challenges to awaken the deep questions within us.

We need to develop our enthusiasm to meet with these challenges so that when difficulties arise, we do not give up and fall into negative behaviour, worthless distractions or put ourselves down.

In this talk, Amnyi Trulchung Rinpoche will use Shantideva’s A Guide to the Bodhisattva’s Way of Life to focus on how to develop a joyous attitude to endeavour and enthusiasm for spiritual progress.
